Precision strings are ideal for students, ensemble players and folk musicians. This standard model has remained popular to this day, not only because of its price range but its long playing life. It should be noted that the bass strings are not suited to pizzicato playing. For the player who wishes to experiment, Thomastik-Infeld recommends the e2-mi2 range, where all the violin E strings we produce can be supplied individually. New gauges and grades of tension have been included for even greater variety.
